As part of ongoing efforts to modernize government services and accelerate digital transformation in Iraq, the National Automation and Electronic Collection Project, sponsored and funded by Al Janoob Islamic Bank, organized a training workshop to introduce the project's implementation across municipal departments and familiarize participants with the new electronic system and its operational procedures.
The workshop was organized as part of broader efforts to modernize administrative and financial operations within municipal departments, supporting the transition from traditional procedures to advanced digital systems designed to streamline revenue collection, simplify administrative processes, and improve the quality of public services.
The training sessions introduced the project's primary objectives and the operational framework of the automation and electronic collection system. They also covered financial collection procedures, electronic payment methods, and the management of data and transactions, with an emphasis on improving accuracy, efficiency, and service delivery.
The workshop further highlighted the importance of strengthening the technical and administrative capabilities of municipal employees, equipping them with the necessary skills to operate modern electronic systems effectively while reducing reliance on paper-based transactions and manual procedures.
Al Janoob Islamic Bank's sponsorship and financial support of the project reflects its contribution to developing Iraq's digital financial infrastructure and supporting the adoption of more efficient electronic payment and collection systems. These efforts are intended to promote financial inclusion and facilitate financial transactions between citizens and government institutions.
The National Automation and Electronic Collection Project aims to advance the modernization of municipal services through innovative technological solutions that enhance revenue collection efficiency, promote transparency, simplify administrative procedures, and deliver faster, more accessible public services.
This training workshop represents an important milestone in launching the project and expanding the implementation of automation and electronic collection systems across municipal departments, supporting Iraq's digital transformation and contributing to the development of a more efficient and technologically advanced public service infrastructure.
