Four steps from the visit to electronic collection
The entire process is carried out by the mobile teams of Al Janoob Islamic Bank in coordination with the water directorates in the governorates.

From the knock on the door to the first electronic bill
Visits by the mobile teams of Al Janoob Islamic Bank are coordinated with the water directorates in order to record and update subscriber data and encourage subscribers to install the modern meters for electronic collection.
Visit by the mobile teams
Al Janoob Islamic Bank teams reach your area in coordination with the water directorate, or after you contact the subscriber service centre.
Recording and updating subscriber data
Property and subscriber data are documented and linked to the subscription number to ensure accurate billing later.
Installing the modern meter
The old meter is replaced with a climate-resistant smart meter, paid for at 10,000 dinars per month for homes.
Activating electronic collection
Actual consumption begins to be calculated at the approved tariff, with the option of paying on the spot or through electronic channels.
What do you need for a quick installation?
Subscriber details
The subscriber's name, current subscription number (if any) and property address, to update the record and link it to the new meter.
Property type
Residential, government, commercial, industrial or agricultural, as this determines how the meter is paid for: monthly instalments, or one or two instalments.
Easy access to the meter location
Clear the area around the meter box or water inlet so the technician can replace and test the meter in a single visit.
What happens once the meter is installed?
Your actual consumption is calculated from the first day. The collector reads the meter electronically with a QR reader and prints an instant receipt for you.
- The meter instalment (10,000 dinars for homes) is added to the monthly bill for six months.
- Pay the collector on the spot, at the governorate water directorate, or through ATMs, points of sale and applications.
- Any complaint or bill enquiry is received by the subscriber service centre 24 hours a day.
