The smart water meter installation project is an ambitious national initiative implemented by the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works in cooperation with Al Janoob Islamic Bank, replacing old conventional meters with modern smart meters.
The new meters provide accurate readings and advanced technology for managing water consumption, helping to reduce waste and rationalise consumption in all governorates of Iraq except the Kurdistan Region.
